Happy Memorial Day!

I was out picking up dinner at the Smyrna Village and I took my new camera along as it was FINALLY sunny and I wanted to practice taking some shots. I was taking pictures of the fountain in the middle of the square to see how the camera picked up the moving water and I noticed the flag in the background. A fitting end to a day in which we honor all of the brave men and women that protect us each day. 

Owen has been teething really badly this weekend. I think he will have several new teeth in the next week or two. More to come...

The Start of Memorial Day Weekend...

We went to La Parilla for dinner this evening. It appears that is our new Friday night hangout. If you want to find the Dennis's around 6:15pm on a Friday night, yep, we are probably there! Daddy is still learning his way around the new camera, but took a few funny shots during bath time while trying out the black & white setting. Bath time mohawks are obviously something we do often! 

I purchased a new camera on Saturday as a little early birthday present to myself. My goal is to begin taking more "professional" looking pictures over time. Above is one of the first pictures I took while messing around Saturday night while Jack Ramsey was staying over. It is a crisp shot, now I just have to learn how to do all the cool things this camera offers! 

Sleepover at the Dennis Household

Owen and Jack Ramsey played well together. Owen is having another round of teething pains, but that didn't stop him from cracking up with his cousin. 
What's a sleepover without crazy hair in the tub? Owen didn't know what to make of having someone else a part of his bath time. 

We had a good weekend together. La Parilla on Friday night, cousin Jack Ramsey sleepover on Saturday night and a rainy Sunday of relaxing together. 

Mother's Day Weekend

We had a great time in Meridian with Bunnie, Bear and Mamatha. Owen even got to hang out with Jack Ramsey and Aunt Angela part of Friday night and Saturday morning. He is looking forward to spending next Saturday with his cousin while Jack Ramsey comes to stay at our house. 

Owen wants to thank Bunnie and Bear for the fun time at their house. Between the good food, fan checks and running pretty much non-stop he is ready to recharge until next time!
