The picture above was my inspiration to post on the blog this evening. I have this picture at my desk at work and I smile every time I look at our funny little guy!
Here is Owen with his best pal Jane. They are maxing and relaxing at Nana's house, we should all be so lucky!
Above we have an appearance from, "Mr. Serious" as he scopes out the swing situation. 
Owen experiences the playground and swing for the first time with Nana, Aunt Kimberly and Jane. 

Tomorrow night is Halloween and we can't wait to celebrate it with Owen! We love you son! Mom & Dad

He Is Such A Little Character!

Owen will be 7 1/2 months old on Halloween and every day he comes home from Nana's Leah and I swear he has matured a little more. Owen and Mommy showed up at the house with Owen wearing the outfit above. He was cracking us up!
The caption to the picture above should simply read: "I didn't do it."

Owen in October...

Here is Daddy and me looking at pumpkins. I was simply trying to point out there was a much better selection further up the line. 
We haven't posted since Owen's baptism a few weeks ago. Since then Owen had his 6 month visit at the doctor on 10/2/2008. Owen weighed in at 17 pounds 5 ounces and was 27" in length. He got his next round of shots and was not happy about it at all. Owen is looking forward to Halloween in a few weeks and wearing his cute little costume. You will have to tune back in to find out what he is wearing...

Owen's Baptism Weekend...

This weekend Owen was baptized at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church - 9/28/2008. The entire family came into town for the occasion. Above is a family photo taken at Nana's house for the celebration after church. 
Mamatha, Aunt Angela, Cousin Jack Ramsey, Mommy, Nana and Bunnie join Owen on the deck for a picture in his baptism outfit.

6 Wonderful Months...

Owen turned 6 months old (24 weeks) this past Friday, another milestone in the Dennis household. We decided it was time to give the little man his first taste of squash.  As you can see we got mixed reactions, but he gobbled it up after a few minutes of tasting. 
Owen is constantly on the go, or wants to be anyway.  He is always trying to get into something and when you pick him up his little legs continue to kick away. Owen took a page from his cousin Jack Ramsey and we purchased a Sesame Street Walker.  The above picture capture's Owen's first attempt with Max standing guard.

The weekend comes to a close with Owen and Mommy reading a story from the Bible. Owen never misses a moment to ham it up to the camera. Until next time, Go Dawgs! (4-0)

I Love Bath Time!

It's been a couple of weeks since our last update.  Owen continues to grow into his little personality.  His laugh is contagious and his "Mr. Serious" times are just as cute and funny. Owen will be 6 months old next Friday, we can't believe it! 

He has officially begun to sit unsupported on a regular basis as he plays on the floor both at home and at Nana's house. Owen loves to grab anything in sight at this point, with one of this favorite things to grab being the remote. Today while at Target we found a cute little Sesame Street Remote and had to buy it for him. The bottom picture is Owen crawling over to pick up his new toy.

Owen's Labor Day Weekend...

Our Labor Day plans changed a little due to the approach of Hurricane Gustav. Rather than risk driving to the beach only to turn around due to weather, we all decided to stay in Atlanta and Bunnie, Bear and Mamatha came in to town. We had a great time, Owen got to see his first Georgia game (a win of course) and spend time with all of his family.

Owen spent Sunday night at Nana's house, check out the cute ducky towel Aunt Kathy and Nana picked up for him!!

We ended the weekend with Owen getting his first taste of applesauce, he loved it!!
