It has been raining cats and dogs in Smyrna for several days now. Saturday we decided we would all head to NorthPoint Mall in Alpharetta, GA to stay dry and have something to do. We got some shopping done and Owen had fun playing in the play area and riding the carousel with Mommy.
Labor Day weekend Jack Ramsey and Owen got to spend a good bit of time together. They really enjoyed playing with each other and they are becoming fast friends. The above picture captures the weekend well.
Owen took his first plane ride over the Labor Day weekend. A quick flight from Atlanta, GA to Pensacola, FL. He did very good! The flight down he slept the entire way and the flight back he was awake the entire way, but enjoying the flight with us!
This picture was taken about 5 minutes before our take off in Atlanta. Owen was asleep about 3 minutes after this picture was taken.
If you want to see Owen freak out simply take a vacuum away from him. It started with following Mommy around while she cleaned to pulling vacuum's out here and at Nana's house. I figured he needed his own vacuum. He plays with this thing a good bit every day, and he has the motion down and everything, it is hilarious!
There is nothing worse than seeing your child get hurt right in front of your eyes. Yesterday after work Owen and I were heading out the front door to get the mail. He tripped on the threshold of the front door, fell forward and his momentum carried him down the front brick stairs, head over heels. The result: A very swollen, scraped and bruised forehead, a scraped up nose and a nice scratch on his back. He took it better than I probably would, he cried for about 2 minutes and then kept on going. I took him to the pediatrician today just as a precaution, everything is a-ok!!
Owen and Jack Ramsey had fun playing together during their time in Meridian. They both know how to ham it up for the camera in their own way.
