4 Month Pediatrician's Visit...

Owen went back to the pediatrician's office on 8/6/2008 for his 4 month checkup.  He now weighs 15 pounds and is 25" in length. He is a growing little boy!! The pediatrician advised us Owen is now ready to try some rice cereal and we are going to give it a whirl this weekend. Owen also has the green light for the swimming pool, so Labor Day weekend he will get to take his first swim! Here is a video of some of the talking he has begun doing on a regular basis.  Now if I can only get him to say "Da-Da"! 

The Weekend Comes to a Close...

We had a great weekend with Owen.  He was 17 weeks old on Friday and continues to learn new things each day.  This weekend he has really begun to voice his opinion...talking up a storm!  Wednesday is the trip to the pediatrician's office for his 4 month check up and next round of shots.  Here are a few pictures from the weekend...

Owen's First Trip to Church...

Leah and I joined Mt. Bethel Methodist Church this weekend.  Owen did very well for his first time in the nursery.  This is a picture of Owen and Mommy after the church service while we waited in the receiving line for new members. 

Owen Hangs with Bunnie...

7/26/2008 - Owen falls asleep on Bunnie's shoulder while we cook out at Aunt Angela's house. He was pooped from all the partying! 

Happy 4 Month Birthday Owen!!

Today is Owen's 4 month mark (well...16 weeks old) He is growing so fast it is almost scary!

We are going back to the pediatrician's office on August 6th for his next check-up and we are anxious to see how much he weighs!

A Step Into the Past

I thought it would be good to provide a little background information on the little guy since we are getting a late start on his blog.

Christopher "Owen" Dennis, Jr. was born on 4/4/2008 @ 5:21pm in Piedmont Hospital - Atlanta, GA. Owen weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces and was 20 1/4 inches in length.
