Happy New Year!!!

Well, we are only about a week late, but Happy New Year to all! Owen rang in the New Year at Nana and Big Daddy's house while we were at the Chick-fil-a bowl watching the game.  Owen is growing and changing daily it seems. He has finally learned to clap on cue with others, funny stuff! Next on the list is waving and hopefully his first word or walking! We wish everyone a great 2009!! Oh, and Owen went to his 9 month visit recently. He weighed 19 pounds, 4 ounces and was 28 1/4" in length, and I am confident he is already bigger by this post. 

Merry Christmas!!

Owen spent his first Christmas at Bunnie and Bear's house in Meridian, Mississippi. Here is a picture of Owen in the same high chair Mommy ate in as a baby. Owen is excited it is Christmas Eve and is looking forward to seeing what Santa brings him for being such a good boy.

Owen checks on the tree that Bear planted in his honor to celebrate his birth. It will be cool to watch Owen and the tree grow over the years.

Random Moments...

Owen crawls towards the singing Santa and Rudolph stuffed animal. Owen kept the bow on his head for quite a while during his Christmas @ Nana and Big Daddy's house! 
Owen, taking a page from dad, decides he wants to shred some guitar! From the way he is holding the guitar, maybe we need to buy him a pedal steel guitar first and let him work the slide!

Owen chilling out in his new recliner! This was actually Daddy's when he was a little boy that Nana kept all of these years. Nana picked some fabric out that would match her living room and had it recovered, it looks great!

It has now become a Dennis family tradition to get our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. Above you see Owen and Mommy getting a good look at the tree selection.
